(Brief history of the title of this section: when I opened my website at age 20 in 2010, I called this the “hippy tech” section. When it was time to hunt for real jobs, I called it “ICT for development”. Then I called it “ICT for change”. Then I used ‘Public interest technology’ inspired by New America’s use of the concept, and my current favorite is ‘Tech for Social Justice’ inspired by my advisor’s work on #MoreThanCode).
I spend most of my time looking into all types of projects in the field of technology for social justice, and I thought I should post my findings where others who are interested in the field can find them.
